Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a collection that bundles together a remaster of the original game and its sequel, and was a launch title for both of the latest next-gen consoles. Currently, the only way to play it is on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, but that's about to change. Ghost Town Games announces plans to bring the title to many new platforms.
Through a delightfully whimsical trailer, the Onion King issues breaking news to the Onion Kingdom, stating that Overcooked! All You Can Eat is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4, and Xbox One on March 23. Additionally, a cross-play update will also be added to all platforms. Soon, more players will be able to indulge in one of the greatest multitasking games available.

While the game itself will be the same across all platforms, there are some perks to playing on PlayStation consoles. The light bar on the systems' controllers can be used to highlight which color a player is. This feature is not only much more visible on the PS5 controller, but the DualSense uses haptic feedback to alert players to food catching on fire, recipes timing out, and more. Given the chaos that can ensue during a round, it's a helpful feature for players to keep track of what's going on in the kitchen.
For any Switch players who want to see how the series plays, Overcooked 2 is free via Nintendo Switch Online for a limited time. As part of Game Trials, the sequel will be available to members from February 10, 2021, to February 16, 2021. This means there's only a day left to hop on and take advantage of this offer.
