The Valentine's Day event is still ongoing for players in Pokemon GO to participate in. This event offers multiple field research tasks, increased spawn rates of specific Pokemon, event raid bosses, and the Valentine's Day Collection Challenge.
Players are recommended to give the Valentine's Day Collection Challenge a shot in order to get the rewards from its completion. However, while some of the Pokemon needed for it are easy to find in Pokemon GO at this time, others are much more elusive.

Two of the 12 required Pokemon are Espeon and Umbreon. These two are some of the possible evolutions of Eevee with them not usually being commonly found in the wild. Players however can encounter them during this event in a specific way.
Players may not be able to find Umbreon and Espeon among the increased wild spawn rates during this event, but a new way of encountering them is now available. This is due to both Pokemon serving as event-exclusive three star raid bosses.
In order to encounter them, players will need to search their local areas for any gyms with upcoming three star raids or an ongoing raid with either Espeon or Umbreon. They won't be as much of a challenge compared to mega raids and five star raids, but they still can give some players trouble if they are fighting alone or don't have too strong a team. Because of this it is recommended for players to take advantage of their weaknesses in battle.
If players decide to use their new Pokemon for battle, there are move-sets that have been calculated for the most DPS possible. For Espeon, it should have Confusion for its fast move and Psychic for its charge move. Then for Umbreon it should have Snarl for its fast move and Foul Play for its charge move.
Espeon is a pure Psychic-type Pokemon making it weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type moves. It also resists damage from Fighting and Psychic-type moves. Umbreon meanwhile is a Dark-type that is weak to Fairy, Fighting, and Bug-type moves. This Pokemon also resists Ghost, Dark, and Psychic-type moves.
Once players obtain both Espeon and Umbreon during the Valentine's Day event, players can mark off two of the twelve required Pokemon for the Valentine's Day Collection Challenge. If players manage to catch all twelve Pokemon, they will receive three Silver Pinap Berries, three Rocket Radars, and two Charged TMs. Players will however need to act fast on this. The event and the Collection Challenge will end on Thursday, February 18th at 8:00 PM in players' local times.
