With Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 approaching fast, players are starting to go through the announced content in the next update. In a video posted by Call of Duty: Warzone content creator JGOD, the YouTuber outlines exactly how players can access the unreleased pistol. There is still a ton fans do not know about this weapon, but at least now they can learn how to acquire the gun.
The first step is to complete the challenge for the pistol by finishing 5 matches with 4 pistol kills. Once completed, players need to log into Warzone and look for a flashing green square in the upper-right corner. If it does not appear, start a private Survival match and access the weapon buy station. Scroll to the bottom of the pistols category, and the green square should appear. Once that blinking box is active, players will have the Sykov pistol unlocked.
Players who have wielded the Sykov have found it to be an incredibly powerful weapon. The Call of Duty: Warzone pistol mainly appears in Plunder Mode, and in its current build, the weapon is considered broken as far as balance is concerned.
While the Call of Duty: Warzone pistol is not currently in the game, accessing it is a point of conflict for some fans. Players consider its use in Plunder to be an exploit, while others are marking its access to developer error. It is unknown how long this guide will work, so players are advised to attempt this sooner rather than later.
Call of Duty: Warzone is launching its second season on February 24th, so it will not be long until the pistol is added formally. Players will need to keep an eye on the developer notes for exactly when this gun will be accessible to the wide audience. Until then, fans can use this quick guide for an early peek at a powerful weapon.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
