No More Heroes 3 is one of the Switch's most anticipated exclusives of 2021, even after the announcement of titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and Mario Golf: Super Rush during this week's Nintendo Direct. At this showcase, developer Grasshopper Manufacture showcased the newest trailer for the third installment in the beloved cult action series, while also revealing that the game will release on August 27th of this year. Now, director Goichi "Suda51" Suda has not only revealed the game's box art, but the new and returning voice cast for No More Heroes 3.
No More Heroes 3 was first announced during Nintendo's Nintendo Direct showcase for E3 2019, in which the game was confirmed to be in development, and it was revealed that the game would be set after the spin-off Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Later that year, an animated trailer debuted at The Game Awards showcasing the game's villains, a group of alien superheroes. After almost a full year of teasing fans, gameplay for the title was finally revealed during the September 2020 Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, along with the announcement of No More Heroes 3's delay to 2021.

Now, as Grasshopper Manufacture prepares to launch the game in just over six months, No More Heroes creator Suda51 has revealed the new and returning voice cast for Travis Touchdown's latest adventure. While actors such as Robin Atkin Downes, Paula Tiso, Kimberly Brooks, and Kathryn Fiore will be returning to voice Travis, Sylvia Christel, Shinobu, and Badgirl respectively, Travis' brother, Henry Cooldown, has been recast, with Mark Allan Stewart (The Legend of Korra) replacing previous voice actor Quinton Flynn. This is likely due to the accusations of sexual misconduct that were made against the voice actor in late 2020.
Joining the cast are Max Mittelman (Persona 5, Bugsnax,) who will be playing Damon Ricotello, Noshir Dalal (Red Dead Redemption 2,) who will be portraying the game's main villain, FU, and Scott Whyte (Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, Days Gone,) who will be portraying another villain, Mr. Blackhole. Grasshopper Manufacture has also revealed No More Heroes 3's box art, which was created by The Boys comic book artist Darick Robertson, who has designed much of the game's promotional material.
No More Heroes 3 sees Travis Touchdown returning to the world of assassination after taking a break during the events of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. The game is the first major installment in the franchise since 2010's No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on the Nintendo Wii. In September 2020, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle came to Nintendo Switch digitally via the eShop, meaning the entire No More Heroes series can be enjoyed on Nintendo Switch.
No More Heroes 3 will release on August 27th 2021, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
