Destiny 2 players should grab Strength of Rasputin from Banshee's stock whenever it is available to help build upon their melee ability builds.

Strength of Rasputin is one of the coveted Warmind Cell Armor Mods that were introduced in Destiny 2’s Season of the Worth last year. Since then, these mods have become must-haves, along with some Warmind-themed weapons, for some top-tier PvE builds across Nightfall Strikes and Raids.

Season of the Worthy came to an end long ago, but these Warmind Cell mods are still available to buy from the Tower's Gunsmith vendor Banshee-44, including Strength of Rasputin, which grants melee ability energy whenever a player collects a Warmind Cell.

To find Banshee, players will need to travel to the Tower. Once they have arrived, they should head forward and slightly to the right, passing the Cryptarch, Master Rahool, towards Banshee in his weapons workshop. By speaking to Banshee, players will be presented with his bounties, mods, and various upgrade material exchanges.

Each day in Destiny 2, Banshee will have two mods for weapons and armor available to buy for 10 mod components each. The two mods of the day will always be the two items to the left under the “Materials Exchange” section. Players can acquire these mods using their mod components. Any mods that players already have will be greyed out and unavailable for purchase. Mod components can be earned by completing Banshee’s daily bounties.

There are a lot of mods available in Destiny 2, so the chances of Banshee selling these mods are quite low. Players after these mods should ensure they check in with Banshee regularly to check out his stock which refreshes on the daily reset – 5:00 pm GMT/12:00 pm EST/9:00 am PST.

Strength of Rasputin gives players melee energy every time they collect a Warmind Cell. As a quick refresher, Warmind Cells can only be created by IKELOS weapons and Seventh Seraph weapons, unless a specific Warmind Cell mod allows other weapons to do so. Either the Seventh Seraph or IKELOS SMGs are excellent weapons for generating Warmind Cells.

Collecting a Warmind Cell simply means walking into one. If a player does not have their melee ability charged, collecting the cell will cause it to disappear and grant approximately half of their melee ability energy.

Strength of Rasputin is an Arc energy armor mod. This means that it can be slotted into the “Combat Style Mod Slot” for any piece of Arc energy armor. If players have a piece of armor that is not Arc energy, they will need to spend some materials to change the energy type to Arc.

Thankfully, Strength of Rasputin is only worth two energy points, so it is a relatively cheap mod to slot in. Players should combo Strength of Rasputin with Strength mods to boost their character’s Strength stat to make sure that they get the most out of the mod and almost always have their melee ability charged in combat.

Any Destiny 2 players using subclasses with particularly potent melee abilities should consider exploring a build using Strength of Rasputin. Code of the Devastator Sunbreaker Titans using the Wormgod Caress or Synthoceps exotic gauntlets will be able to use their high damage throwing hammer much more often. Meanwhile, Attunement of Hunger Voidwalker Warlocks will be nearly invincible when they are able to maximize their Devour buff uptime.

Lastly, Revenant or Gunslinger Hunters should consider Strength of Rasputin to ensure they always have a throwing knife or withering blade for a solid ranged build.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light and Season of the Chosen are out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
