Assassin's Creed Valhalla's most recent update adds more than just River Raids, as players can now obtain a new legendary dagger.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla lets players customize Eivor in a number of ways, but the one that affects gameplay the most is their choice of weapon. Finding powerful weapons in Valhalla can be pretty challenging, especially if players have their hearts set on getting one of the legendary weapons scattered throughout Norway or England. Alongside the introduction of the new River Raids game mode, players can now get their hands on the legendary dagger of Ragnar Lothbrok himself. Though this Assassin's Creed game takes place after the infamous Viking's death, traces of his legacy can still be found all throughout the world.

In order to get Ragnar's dagger, called the Dregniligr Dagger, players will need to seek out and defeat six of Ragnar's lost Drengr in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. These mighty warriors raided and fought alongside Ragnar in their glory days, but are now seeking an honorable way to die. Given their great power, it seems that Eivor is the only one in England capable of giving them that honor.

The first Drengr is Erik Loyalskull, and he is found in Fornburg, Rygjafylke behind the waterfall. Enter the cave to talk to him and defeat him in personal combat. The recommended power level for this fight is 10. Next, seek out Thor the Fishmonger, found in East Anglia near the town of Northwic. For an easier time, it is recommended to have a power level of 100 before fighting him, and the Missile Reversal skill will also help a lot. The third Drengr is called Nokkfylla Shine-Eye, and he is even more powerful than the last. In the Eurviscire region, he can be found near Brunton tower and has a power level of 280.

The fourth Drengr, Gotafrid Fairrobes, makes his home to the southeast of Jorvik. This fight has a recommended power level of 310. After defeating him, players will want to find Skegjold Frenzy-Seeker northwest of Sherwood Forest in Snotinghamscire. Though the recommended power for this fight is also 310, players will be drunk during the battle and unable to lock on. Finally, the last of the six lost Drengr of Ragnar Lothbrok is Orwig Neverdeath, and he is also the most powerful at power 370. He can be found in Hordafylke in Norway very far to the North.

After defeating all six Lost Drengr, players need to head to Eurvicscire in North Umbria and find a snake pit just outside of Jorvik's east wall. Kill the snakes and examine the cage here to trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene plays, Eivor can pick up the Drengiligr dagger, a Flawless weapon that deploys a smoke bomb when killing foes while outnumbered.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
