With Freddy being one of the deadliest killers in Dead by Daylight, mobile survivor players will need to watch out for him. His ability to drag survivors into the dream world, remain unseen to awakened survivors, and mask his terror radius make him especially dangerous for those unprepared.
There are multiple traps that Freddy Krueger players can prepare for survivors that fall asleep. One of the more dangerous ones is the Dream Snare, which will slow any sleeping survivor that steps in it for a short duration of time. It will additionally make an audible noise. Another is the Dream Pallet, which Freddy players can place as a fake pallet that can fool survivors looking to escape.
Freddy can get better map coverage if there are plenty of survivors in the dream world. This is due to Freddy Krueger's ability to teleport to any generator in view with the cooldown for the ability decreasing by 15% for each survivor in the dream world. Using this ability can scare off survivors doing generators a little too fast.
Survivors put to sleep can wake up and exit the dream world in multiple ways. These include being directly woken up by an already awakened survivor, failing a skill check, or by using the highlighted alarm clock located on the map. There is, however, no way to stay awake forever with survivors getting progressively sleepy every second that Freddy Krueger is the killer in a match.
The representatives from A Nightmare on Elm Street will be coming to Dead by Daylight Mobile on February 22 at 11:00 AM EST.
