The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 trailer has revealed a ton of upcoming content for the game's community. Zombies, operators, and a large ship were showcased in cinematic clips, and the developer has spared no action in the video. While Call of Duty: Warzone clips are one thing, some fans have noticed an important change just off the coast in Verdansk.
The Call of Duty: Warzone developers have added physical teasers into the game. While these are most likely efforts to raise fan excitement, the community has had mixed responses. Call of Duty: Warzone's trailer promised a ton of new locations and content, but some players suspect that there are even more teasers hidden in the game that may have been left out of the promotional bubble.

The immediate change was noticed by Call of Duty: Warzone fans and is best showcased in a clip by Kennnt found on Reddit. In the clip, the player is seen dropping into Verdansk, but as they turn towards the sea, they can clearly view the ship from the trailer being accompanied by a massive thunderstorm. While this is obviously a reference to the upcoming content update, fans are concerned as the storm slowly grows closer and Call of Duty: Warzone shifts into a new Season. The ship is rumored to be bringing Zombies to the game alongside a new map location as it nears the coast and becomes a viable drop zone.
A ship in the distance is not the only teaser added to the game. Call of Duty: Warzone fan Argeras received an unexpected jumpscare as the game glitched his visuals and filled his ears with incoming radio transmission. While this is similar to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War promotional tactic, the effect is generally the same, as players did not expect another burst of disruptive visuals. While the effort to immerse players deeper in upcoming content is appreciated, some community members worry about the teasers that they may not have found quite yet.
Call of Duty: Warzone's Verdansk is a massive map, and there are plenty of places to hide new content. Fans are now exploring locations seen in the trailer in an effort to unearth a few more teasers before the season's launch. From new map locations to the full view of a nuclear warhead, players know from past experiences exactly where to check due to visible landmarks.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
