When players find access to the Secret Woods in Stardew Valley, they will encounter a mysterious statue that refers to itself as Master Cannoli.

When the Secret Woods in Stardew Valley is unlocked, players will find a statue at the far end of the woods. When players interact with it, they will be met with the message, "Old Master Cannoli... still searching for the sweetest taste..." Should players fulfill the statue's mysterious request, they will receive one of the more sought after rewards in Stardew Valley.

Before players can even encounter Master Cannoli, they will need access to the Secret Woods. The entrance to the Secret Woods is to the most western part of the Cindersap Forest, the area just below the player's farm. However, it will initially be blocked by a large log. It needs to be cut down with an axe of steel quality or better.

In order to get a steel axe, players will first need to smelt 5 copper bars in a furnace and then bring their axe to Clint along with the bars. Once it's upgraded to a copper axe, players will then need to smelt 5 iron bars and bring the copper axe and bars to Clint to get a steel axe. Once that's done, the log in front of the Secret Woods can be chopped down and access to the woods will be granted, as well as some hardwood for the trouble.

The message from the Master Cannoli statue is rather vague, simply hinting that it desires the sweetest item in the game. Players make think they have to cook in Stardew Valley, but there are too many possible options for it to be narrowed down to a specific recipe. What Master Cannoli is really looking for is a sweet gem berry which is described in game as "the sweetest thing you've ever smelled."

To get a sweet gem berry, players will first need to track down rare seeds. Rare seeds are sold by the traveling cart that sometimes sets up shop below the player's farm. It will show up on Fridays and Sundays and will also be available at the Winter Night Market, one of Stardew Valley's many festivals. It will always been in stock during the Spring and Summer, but it will join the cart's rotating stock in Fall and Winter.

Once a rare seed is purchased, it can be grown during the Fall. It takes 24 days to grow however, so plays will want to play it as soon as soon as possible once it becomes Fall. After it's been 24 days and the sweet gem is obtained, simply give it to Master Cannoli and the statue's eyes will turn red. Interacting with it again will reward the player with a Stardrop that will increase the player's max energy.

Stardew Valley is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
