During the Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto event in Pokemon GO, players can witness different habitat encounters based on the time of day in their local time.

The newest Pokemon GO event is an all-day ordeal with plenty to experience every hour of the day. A large part of the Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto event is the habitat changes that will occur every hour of the event.

By going through habitat changes, players will have access to a completely different roster of Pokemon each and every hour in Pokemon GO. These habitats are all based on the different towns and the Pokemon League available in the Kanto region.

Each habitat hour will appear twice during the event on Saturday, February 20th. After every habitat has made their two appearances, all Pokemon from these habitats will be in the spawn pool from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in players' local times.

The Pallet Town Hour will begin as soon at the event starts at 9:00 am before ending at 10:00 am in player's local times. This hour and the Pokemon spawning with it will repeat later in the day starting at 2:00 pm and ending at 3:00 pm in players' local times once more.

During the Pallet Town Hour, players will be able to catch many Pokemon available in the early-game of the Kanto-based Pokemon titles. These Pokemon are:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Caterpie
  • Weedle
  • Pidgey
  • Rattata
  • Spearow
  • Pikachu
  • Zubat

The next habitat hour is the Pewter City hour, which begins at 10:00 am and ends at 11:00 am in players' local times. Like the other habitat hours, the hour will repeat later in the day with this one coming back at 3:00 pm and running until 4:00 pm.

Pokemon that spawn during this habitat hour seem to be connected to Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader, and the various Pokemon that reside in or nearby Mt. Moon. These Pokemon are:

  • Female Nidoran
  • Male Nidoran
  • Clefairy
  • Paras
  • Diglett
  • Geodude
  • Magnemite
  • Onix
  • Voltorb
  • Rhyhorn

Up next is the Cerulean City Hour, which will be starting at 11:00 am initially before ending at 12:00 pm in players' local times. It will then come back with all of the Pokemon spawns included at 4:00 pm then ending at 5:00 pm.

Like with the Pewter City Hour, the Cerulean City Hour's spawns seem to be related to the city's gym leader, Misty. Various Pokemon that live nearby the town are also available with the full spawn list being:

  • Jigglypuff
  • Psyduck
  • Poliwag
  • Tentacool
  • Shellder
  • Krabby
  • Horsea
  • Goldeen
  • Staryu
  • Magikarp

Continuing on, the next habitat hour is the Fuchsia City Hour. It will begin directly after the Cerulean City Hour with it beginning at 12:00 pm and ending at 1:00 pm. It will then repeat at 5:00 pm before once again ending at 6:00 pm.

The Pokemon available in this hour once again reflect the surrounding spawns in the mainline games as well as the Pokemon used by Gym Leader Koga. These Pokemon are:

  • Venonat
  • Abra
  • Ponyta
  • Grimer
  • Gastly
  • Drowzee
  • Exeggcute
  • Koffing
  • Omanyte
  • Kabuto

The final habitat hour is fittingly the Pokemon League Hour. It will begin at 1:00 pm and run until 2:00 pm. Players will be able to once again experience the hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Many of the Pokemon appearing with this hour are either late-game Pokemon or Pokemon associated with the Elite Four of the Kanto Pokemon League. The spawn pool is:

  • Machop
  • Slowpoke
  • Doduo
  • Seel
  • Hitmonlee
  • Hitmonchan
  • Jynx
  • Eevee
  • Porygon
  • Dratini
