Collecting armor and weapons is a key element in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, so players will want to use this guide to locate the Mentor's Set.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has a massive world of Vikings for players to explore. While traveling the ancient lands of Europe, the main character Eivor can pick up various types of weapons and armor. Some of these armor sets can be more useful than others due to the gameplay benefits provided while equipped. The Mentor's Set in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is worth collecting, so check out this guide to learn how.

The Mentor's Armor Set is great for those who prefer the assassination side of the game. While some the best armor sets in the game are better for head to head combat, this one gives buffs towards a sneakier approach. Eivor receives increased attack after a Critical Hit and a speed bonus once equipping all the pieces. This helps players get up close to targets quickly before finishing them off with a powerful critical hit. Plan to be around Power Level 80 before searching out these pieces, because the battles can be tough if lower than that.

Fortunately, the pieces for the Mentor's Set are available in England, so Eivor's story in Assassin's Creed Valhalla will not take players far to collect them. First up is the Mentor's Mask, which can be found in the Sherwood Hideout in Sherwood Forest. Just avoid the guards and head into the building, loot the chest on the right for the piece. The Mentor's Cloak is also in the Snotinghamscire area, in the Loch Clunbre Hideout on the Maun River. Again, go into the nearby building and take out the guard to access the chest with the cloak.

Next, players need to head to Guildford, Suthsexe for the Mentor's Robe. It is hidden inside Seint Lewinna's Church, so use one of the powerful bows in Assassin's Creed Valhalla to shoot down the hanging weight outside to access the building. Continue down, shooting out obstacles and moving objects to clear a path to the chest. The Mentor's Vambrace is in Southern Suthsexe, but in the Anderitum Hideout which is underground. Locate the hole, jump down, and follow the corridor until reaching a flammable vase. Bring this through the hideout until locating a breakable wall, chuck the vase at this spot to knock it down. Form there continue through the path until locating the room that has the chest inside.

The last piece in the set is the Mentor's Trousers, which takes players to southwestern corner of the map in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Located in Wincestre is a garrison and it is heavily guarded by enemies. If taking the stealthier approach, explore around on the rooftops until finding the building with four red flags. Look for the staircase outside the structure and shoot the inner lock from the window. Now Eivor can simply walk inside and loot the chest for the final piece of the Mentor's Armor Set.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
