A Call of Duty: Warzone screenshot has players contemplating boats despite the fact that it is advertising a truck skin hidden under a boat image.

Call of Duty: Warzone offers a wide arrangement of different vehicles for players to travel the map with. Trains, helicopters, and trucks are all accessible depending on where the player wants to go. While these are effective ways to travel, a recent image suggests that boats may be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone soon.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War already offers the opportunity for travel by boat and jet ski. With operations taking place across varying maps and locations, players need a versatile assortment of vehicle options. Despite this, none of these vehicles were added to Call of Duty: Warzone post-integration, but some think that they may make an appearance in the near future.

In an image posted to Reddit by userDNJxxx, the player notices a small detail tagged at the end of their battle pass. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War battle pass has long given options for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, but a vehicle skin has raised some questions. While it makes sense to award a skin for boats in Black Ops Cold War, it does not have an equals standing in Warzone. Despite this, the battle pass appears to be awarding the skin in both games, and fans are starting to believe that it may not be an accident.

In the comments, the image is quickly debunked as it is awarding a separate skin for Call of Duty: Warzone. Still, the appearance on the pass makes the presentation confusing, and some fans believe that boats may not be a bad addition to Verdansk.

As it stands, Call of Duty: Warzone's lakes and rivers are frozen, allowing players to walk on them and drive over them. While this makes some level of sense for the season, eventually, fans are going to expect the water to thaw. Currently, Call of Duty: Warzone has no swimming feature but with Treyarch involved, that could change.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode was the first Call of Duty battle royale. While Blackout was not perfect, it did include swimming and created the innovative armor plate system. Fans believe that with Treyarch's involvement in Call of Duty: Warzone, boats and swimming are at least possible for the future. For the time being, however, fans are going to have to put their boat dreams aside as the skin is only available for Warzone cars.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
