Although it plays differently than its predecessors, Persona 5 Strikers is still a Persona game through and through. Players are advised to read up on a Persona 5 story summary before hopping in if they have not played Persona 5 already.
Despite looking like a Dynasty Warriors game, Persona 5 Strikers is still mostly a Persona game, and that means hunting down and fusing powerful Personas is the name of the game. Obviously, a well-balanced team of characters, and the Personas they bring, are important; it's also important for Joker to have a good roster. To that end: here are the most powerful Personas that Joker can have on his team.

Something to keep in mind is that these are late-game Personas -- the best of the best. They are powerful, and it's important to plan for gaining them to Joker's roster as soon as possible. Some Persona 5 Strikers pro tips for doing this are to master bonds, persona fusion, and boss fights. That last one is important because several of these Personas must be defeated as mini-bosses before they can be fused.
An extremely powerful Persona, Yoshitsune, has the most powerful Physical techniques in the game, including Brave Blade. On top of that, he blocks both Elec and Bless damage, while resisting Physical and Fire damage. Be warned, fusing him requires Siegfried, who must first be defeated as a mini-boss.
Relatively easy to get, and lower-level than other Personas on this list, Seth is the most powerful Gun-centered Persona in the game. Seth can learn Riot Gun, the strongest Gun skill in the game, which eliminates the need for some of Joker's Master Arts. He requires defeating as a mini-boss first.
Mara deserves special mention here for a few reasons. For starters, Mara must be beaten as a mini-boss first. Second, it requires Yoshitsune and Alice (also on this list) together to fuse. For all that trouble, Mara gives powerful defensive, physical, and fire abilities, but is more important for a later fusion.
A returning and iconic Persona, Black Frost requires not only his own mini-boss to be defeated but King Frost as well, who is required for the fusion. Black Frost has the most powerful Ice abilities in the game, increases the odds of inflicting status ailments, and can steal SP from enemies with those ailments. His mini-boss is found in Wonderland after players defeat Alice in boss form.
Unsurprisingly, this is the strongest Electric Persona, dealing massive damage with Elec attacks. No mini-boss is involved with his summoning, which is definitely a blessing. All that power will help when fighting to create bonds with other characters.
The strongest Wind Persona in the game, Norn is also an extremely powerful healer. Not only can it heal a teammate fully, but it can also revive teammates with full HP. Throughout Persona 5 Striker's story, healing is paramount, making Norn invaluable, always.
Easy to use, with powerful, wide-range physical attacks, Kali is also the strongest Psychic Persona. This makes her use somewhat limited, but very useful when necessary. Be warned, she requires Cerberus to fuse, who must be bested as a mini-boss.
The strongest Nuclear Persona in the game, Mot, can deal a massive amount of damage. Amplifying Nuke damage and wielding Cosmic Flare, the game's strongest Nuke skill, it can also boost all the party's stats simultaneously.
This is one of the big ones. Requiring a post-game mini-boss to unlock, Metatron does it all. Powerful damage, debuffing all enemy stats at once, and doubling evasion against most magic. Metatron also brings Salvation, which fully heals and cures the whole team.
Alice attacks an angle many Personas do not: instant death. With the highest-chance insta-kill skill in the game and a passive skill that further increases its chances, she can cut down most foes instantly.
This is it, the best of the best. Lucifer is a monster to get, requiring a fusion of Black Frost, Mara, Metatron, Alice, and Yoshitsune. If those names sound familiar, it's because all of them are on this list, and Mara is also a fusion of Yoshitsune and Mara itself. For all of that, Lucifer is an utter beast, reducing or negating damage from everything except Bless damage. It deals immense damage, physical and magical, wields the strongest Almighty attack in the game, and can recover SP when damaging foes at its highest level. With Lucifer there's almost no need for other Personas, as enemies will find themselves more trapped in a nightmare than the player.
Persona 5 Strikers releases on February 23 for PC, PS4, and Switch.
