New tracks are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as fans see the return of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's popular soundtrack music.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has new music coming to its War Track section for players to use in their favorite game modes. These tracks are some of the most popular game music from the Call of Duty franchise, and now they are available through the Season 2 battle pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans will be able to access these tracks in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone environments.

Previously, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans commented on the lack of War Tracks within the game. While it was mainly the Zombies community, many players use the war tracks within the title to add action music into their gameplay experience. With a limited selection, game modes like Zombies and Fireteam can get repetitive as the same track plays consistently throughout the match.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is adding in new War Tracks that include popular songs from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Four memorable tracks from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will become available, including the main title theme. This is a mixtape collection, but players will be able to enjoy the classic "Damned 100AE" track during their intense Zombies runs. Many Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans are excited to see the addition of Black Ops 2's music. As far as Call of Duty soundtracks go, the community tends to bring up Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 frequently. While there is a large group of community members supporting the addition, others are still waiting for fixes to come to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The comments on this announcement are clearly divided between fans who are static for the menu music and others who clearly do not care.

This split community continues to grow more divided as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's content slowly rolls out. As Treyarch brings back classic and fan-requested features, some fans are dedicated to reminding them that other tasks need their attention. Despite this, many fans are going to be spending their time enjoying the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 music within the modern shooter environment.
