Ahead of its release in April, Outriders will be giving players the chance to dive into the game with its forthcoming demo. One of the best parts is how this demo will support cross-play across practically all platforms, including PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, this demo and all of its features aren't the only reasons Xbox Series X players have to be excited.
During the fifth Outriders Broadcast, People Can Fly unveiled its collaboration with Pope Art to release six custom controllers related to the game. It came near the end of the broadcast, which was already jam-packed with info on the Outriders demo, PC requirements, and more, and it was a strong finish to an overall solid presentation.

These six controllers are designed with Outriders' classes and core tenants in mind. The first four controllers all have a class symbol between the d-pad and right thumbstick, with a corresponding color for each class: Pyromancer (Red), Trickster (Blue), Devastator (Orange), and Technomancer (Green). Outriders' logo can also be found amid a mesh design on the bottom left of the controller, while the right is covered with some wider mesh-like designs. These four are wildly impressive and are complimented by two controller designs with every class, with one being purple and blue, and the other being purple and red. "Play Aggressive" appears on every controller.
Indeed, while it may take time for every player to choose their preferred Outriders class, playing the matching controller with the class will likely be an interesting experience. However, fans should note that these controllers are not made widely enough that they can just be picked up at any retailer. These controllers will, instead, be provided in giveaways via Outriders' various social media channels: Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Discord. It's uncertain as of this writing when these giveaways will begin, how many there will be, or in what form they'll exactly take, but it seems likely that those who get hands on one will be lucky winners.
After all, many gamers' have a taste for stylized game pads and controllers, with the plenty of official colors like the Pulse Red Xbox Series X controller being extremely popular. A lot remains in the air regarding these controllers and the game itself, but with everything People Can Fly and Square Enix are pouring into Outriders, it seems like a safe bet that its launch is intended to go as big as possible.
Outriders releases April 1 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The demo releases February 25th.
