The single-player social deduction game Gnosia has had its release date confirmed after the title's Western port was teased last year.
Gnosia is set to receive a western release on March 4, 2021. The title was previously released in the Japanese market for the PS Vita, followed by a Switch port in April 2020.

This is the title's first release into the mainstream Western market, teased in December last year at Nintendo's Indie World event. Gnosia bears similar core concepts to other social deduction titles like the classic Werewolf, as well the current phenomenon Among Us- this time, in the form of a single-player interactive visual novel, the player must deduce which of the ship's characters is the Gnosia, a shape-shifter who threatens the crew.
Gnosia is a single player title, with a looping, randomized story-line that sees players try and discover who the shape-shifter is in individual five-to-fifteen minute rounds. The single player formula offers an RPG-like spin on the genre, with characters each having their own complement of stats that influence how successful their efforts at convincing crew-mates can be. The re-playable title reveals its story over multiple playthroughs. While the villain is different each round, the characters remain the same, so players can learn more about their crew mates as they go through the story again and again.
The comparisons to Among Us are hard to avoid, but the online deduction game's roaring success on Nintendo's flagship console have set a healthy precedent for the social-deduction genre going forward. Reception to the title has been warm overseas, with IGN Japan crediting the title with a perfect 10/10 score. March is set to be a solid month for Switch users looking for new, eerie stories to experience.
Gnosia launches on the Switch on March 4, 2021, with pre-orders beginning on February 25th.
