Hot Wheels teases a new game announcement tomorrow via a teaser countdown website, likely confirming a leak for Hot Wheels Unleashed.

A new game announcement is being teased for tomorrow, but not from a traditional source. This game announcement is coming from toy manufacturer Hot Wheels, which set up a teaser website with a countdown. Hot Wheels has released many games in the past, of course, but it's been many years since the last full Hot Wheels release. Regardless, that's about to change, as the Hot Wheels teaser countdown is set to end around 10:00 am PT Thursday morning.

The teaser website isn't reliable for much information about the unannounced game. There's a Hot Wheels logo hidden behind a wall of flame, as well as the words "Watch the Trailer." The wall of fire will assumedly drop when the countdown hits zero, revealing the game's full title and the trailer.

With the teaser website providing no information, the Hot Wheels Twitter account has provided a small amount of detail instead. Three tweets sent out Wednesday morning asked the official PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo accounts to check out the countdown site for "some BIG NEWS." It's not much, but it does confirm that the new Hot Wheels announcement is a game that's coming to PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox platforms.

While there's no further official information to consider, there has been some leaked information from earlier this week. A profile for Hot Wheels Unleashed went up early on the Xbox store. It's a racing game, naturally, featuring 2-12 player online multiplayer, the best vehicles in the Hot Wheels universe, and a feature to let players build custom tracks. All that's missing for Hot Wheels Unleashed is a release date, which should arrive mid-day Thursday.

An unannounced Hot Wheels game is in development for PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox platforms.
