The big Season 2 update for Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, and with the new season comes a few major map changes. While most were discovered immediately, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have now found that the Stadium point of interest has seen a major change.
Previously, Call of Duty: Warzone players had to search through every room inside the Stadium for a set of three keycards that could be used to open these doors. Part of a special easter egg quest that gave players access to an exclusive blueprint and other loot, there originally was no way into these rooms without the keycards. However, that has since changed, as the latest update has removed Verdansk’s easter eggs and opened several locked locations.

While this may be disappointing for easter egg hunters, those looking for some easy loot should be happy with this news. However, with Verdansk supposedly being nuked in just a few weeks, players should make use of this drop spot while they still can. Players can find all three rooms inside the Stadium itself, with the first being on the middle floor next to the bar. The other two previously locked rooms on are on the top floor, meaning players should hit both the middle level and top level with their team whenever they drop at Stadium.
In each of the rooms, players will find three orange chests, with a clip from Redditor errlloyd showing off the fully accessible rooms in action. With orange chests being hard enough to find in-game as is, and players usually only stumbling upon one or two in their games, Stadium will likely become a go-to landing spot for many fans. Fans of the Plunder game mode can benefit heavily from landing in Stadium, as a single orange crate provides a huge drop of money — meaning that nine will put them well on their way to winning a match.
While this spot will surely become more popular as time goes on due to more players finding out about the change to Stadium's doors, right now many likely still think that the doors are locked. With a huge portion of every lobby landing at the shipwreck point of interest and fighting over the yellow key card or Zombies kills, players should have a good time with the Stadium spot for the next several days. Still, keeping an eye out for a few scattered enemies around the Stadium would be wise.
With Call of Duty: Warzone players also being given access to three new weapon silos packed with loot crates and powerful items, there are some standout places to drop in Season 2. For now, though, the best is undoubtedly Stadium due to these unlocked doors.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
