A Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Mountain Dew promotion is offering a new brightly colored skin for players who are interested in Game Fuel.

A new promotional event is running that offers Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans the chance to unlock an exclusive skin. Activision and Mountain Dew are frequent partners and often run campaigns in hopes of exciting the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War community. Unlocking the new skin for Adler is easy, and players will find that it comes in a familiar color pallet.

During the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Activision partnered with Dorito and Mountain Dew. They offered some limited-time skins and content through the purchase of specially marked products. This is an annual partnership as each game seems to make an appearance in a Mountain Dew or Dorito advertisement.

The current Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Mountain Dew promotion is for the drink known as Game Fuel, which seems to be designed with gamers in mind. Now, Mountain Dew is selling specially marked packs of Game Fuel on its website, which include codes for a special Adler skin. Known as the "Ambassador" skin, Adler dresses in bright Mountain Dew green accents on a black leather outfit. His signature sunglasses are tinted green, and he wears an American Flag on his chest. For Mountain Dew fans, this news is exciting, but other players are upset about how the company is selling its product.

To claim this limited-edition Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War skin, players need only purchase a case of Game Fuel on the Mountain Dew website. Fans have noticed an increased price for the case, and many are upset they would need to spend large amounts of money for a single skin. Previous Call of Duty promotions only required a single purchase of a drink or bag of chips, but it seems some fans are drawing the line at cases of Game Fuel.

On Twitter, some players are claiming to be avid fans of Game Fuel and, as a result, have tons of promo codes to share. Seeing as each account can only use one code, some Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are asking for bonus content. While there is no way to know if these codes are authentic, it does provide an alternative to buying a case of Game Fuel.

This will most likely not be the last Call of Duty promotional partnership with Mountain Dew and Doritos. The products have had a long partnerships, and players are accustomed to seeing their joint endeavors. For now, it seems that all focus is on Game Fuel and the new Adler skin.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
