Following an array of teases last week, Behaviour Interactive has officially revealed the next big content drop coming to the Dead by Daylight universe. Chapter 19 will be called "All-Kill" and – as fans speculated – will center around a K-Pop theme, with the studio partnering with U-Kiss member Kevin Woo and DJ Swivel, a famed music producer who worked with bands such as BTS.
As expected for a new Dead by Daylight chapter, All-Kill will contain both a killer and a survivor, with the former being a crazed singer called Ji-Woon (AKA The Trickster). The character already has quite the backstory, with IGN reporting that The Trickster's tale cruxes around him being "addicted to murder" and using his victims' screams to create new songs.

The K-Pop killer's origin sees him being recruited into a boy band known as NO SPIN by a music producer called Yun-Jin Lee. The singer doesn't take to his new group, however, quickly becoming jealous of his bandmates and intentionally letting them die in a fire as a punishment. It seems the act awakens something within Ji-Woon, who soon becomes obsessed with the thrill of murder, beginning to weave the sounds of his kills with his music career. Before long, the record label backing Ji-Woon clocks onto his schemes and looks to restrict his creative control, leading the killer to attack Yun-Jin Lee. This is where Dead by Daylight players will enter the story, with The Trickster becoming a killer for the fog as he mercilessly stalks his former-producer.
Yun-Jin Lee will take on the survivor role during the chapter, which Behaviour Interactive claims will be available today on the Public Test Build. As for how Kevin Woo and DJ Swivel factored into the project, the pair were reportedly essential in ensuring the upcoming pack was a fair representation of the K-Pop industry and the passionate community that follows the genre. There's no word on when the chapter will officially debut in the game, although its presence on the Test Build likely suggests fans won't have to wait too long.
Behaviour Interactive has been teasing the arrival of The Trickster over the last few weeks, posting several cryptic images on its Twitter page, including a cup of coffee, a sequined suit, and a glass of champagne. Players guessed that the theme could be K-Pop and it seems the speculation has now been confirmed, offering what is undeniably the most unexpected pack the studio has offered thus far. The Trickster will join a large roster of original and iconic killers, including Pyramid Head, Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, and Leatherface.
Dead by Daylight is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
