The official Fall Guys Twitter account rarely fails to disappoint fans of the game with the strange things it tweets about the wacky battle royale title. Though Fall Guys is most known for dominating gaming in the last half of 2020, the game's social media presence has been a major factor in keeping the game relevant and keeping players interested and entertained.
The Fall Guys Twitter account is well versed in posting memes surrounding the game, as well as posting certain in-jokes that members of the Fall Guys community appreciate. Now, Fall Guys' Twitter has tweeted a pretty disturbing, yet on-brand bit of lore, revealing that the adorable bean-shaped characters in Fall Guys eat by absorbing food through their feet, as they have no mouth.

This is just one of the many horrifying revelations that Mediatonic has revealed about its adorable Fall Guys characters. For example, the game's community director shared a disturbing anatomy chart for the Fall Guys' characters that show the internals and skeletal structure of a Fall Guy. Of course, these disturbing details are probably more meant to garner a reaction than anything, seeing as the aforementioned anatomy chart shows that the Fall Guy characters have jaws under their jumpsuits. Still, these bits of lore are distributed by members of the actual development team, so it may as well be treated as actual canon lore.
Though Fall Guys saw a meteoric rise in popularity during August and September of 2020, the game has slowly dropped its massive player base as new multiplayer games dominate social media platforms like YouTube and Twitch. For example, Among Us was the most popular game of all time in November, breaking insane player count records across different platforms. That's not to say that Fall Guys' player base has completely dissipated - far from it, in fact. It has simply seen a decrease in overall numbers over these past few months.
That being said, Fall Guys developer Mediatonic has made some incredibly interesting moves in the last few days. For those who haven't heard the news, Epic Games has purchased Mediatonic. This is undoubtedly going to open up some incredible opportunities for both Fall Guys and for Mediatonic as a whole. Thankfully, the overall gameplay experience that Fall Guys has offered since release will not be changing, according to a recent FAQ that the team released alongside the purchase announcement.
As a result, it seems like Mediatonic is going to be very busy for the foreseeable future, integrating into Epic Games as smoothly as possible. Mediatonic also has Fall Guys' Season 4 content on the horizon, so the team will definitely have their hands full for some time. Still, the social media team over at Mediatonic will probably still find the time to share plenty more disturbing bits of Fall Guys lore online.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently available for PC and PlayStation 4. The title is currently in development for Mobile, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
