Now alongside its popular Pokemon-themed Nintendo Switch accessories, HORI has unveiled a line of Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch accessories, including a HORIPAD Mini controller and a carrying bag.
Manufacturer HORI specializes in 3rd party gaming accessories and was one of the first in the world to start doing so. Ranging from arcade sticks to racing wheels and flight sticks, HORI has created a wide array of controllers for all major current and last-gen consoles, including accessibility controllers to open gaming up to more players. In terms of Switch products, HORI currently sells a variety of Pokemon and Super Mario controllers that aim to be more ergonomic than the standard Joy-Cons, such as the Pikachu & Eevee HORIPAD Mini controller.

On the Japanese HORI website, a new set of accessories for the Nintendo Switch has been announced, currently available for pre-order on HORI's Amazon Japan page, except for the HORIPAD Mini controller. The wide range of Animal Crossing: New Horizons items is set to release in April 2021.
The lineup of new HORI accessories includes a HORIPAD Mini controller, a console stand, two types of console pouches, and a carrying bag that fits the Switch and its base inside. The storage bag and pouches can fit both standard Switch and Switch Lite models, according to HORI's Japanese site. All items are stylized after Animal Crossing: New Horizons' night sky filled with shooting stars.
However, it's currently unclear if HORI plans on releasing the products outside of Japan. Alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons' launch, HORI released a line of Animal Crossing items different from the new set, but 5 of these items including the console stand and the shoulder bag were never released in the West.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
