While the description associated with Maquette's Into the Darkness trophy, which reads "a leap everyone must take," might be a bit confusing, it is actually one of the game's simplest achievements. Indeed, all that a player must do in order to obtain this trophy is jump off of a particular ledge, which they will encounter during standard gameplay. Puzzle game fans that are looking for the precise location of that ledge will find it in this guide, and it should make earning the achievement a breeze.
To get right to it, players will find the ledge that they need to fall from for this trophy very early in Maquette's The Spiral chapter. More specifically, fans should make their way through the passage at the beginning of the level and then continue straight off of the edge, rather than following the path to the right, when they emerge. Players that would like a visual reference for this process can find it in the video that is featured below.

One additional thing to note is that the Into the Darkness achievement does not always seem to be awarded upon falling from the cliff. Maquette players may thus need to make the plunge several times before they receive their trophy, and they may want to adjust their angles on subsequent jumps. Fortunately, respawns happen instantaneously here, which means that needing to fall more than once should not take up too much of a player's time.
After this achievement, there is only one more missable trophy, which is titled Run, Move, Run!, in Maquette. That trophy is available in the game's next chapter, and it instructs players to enter the Arch Tower on their first try. While learning how to do that does require that one of the chapter's puzzles be spoiled, fans that are trying to avoid missing achievements may still want to quickly reference a guide.
That said, players that are looking to reach 100% completion are likely to have to complete the game at least one additional time in order to earn the speed run trophies. Fans can thus plan to get any achievements that they missed the first time around on their second or third playthroughs. Considering how short Maquette is after a player knowns the solutions to all of the puzzles, these additional playthroughs should not take long at all, and fans should be polishing their brand new Platinum Trophies in no time.
Maquette is out now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
