After the release of the Xbox Series X and Series S in November, along with the newly refined Xbox controller, Xbox debuted the new Xbox Wireless Headset in February, which sold out quickly on the Microsoft Store. With such a successful reveal of the Xbox Wireless Headset, Xbox would like to know what products customers want next.
The $99 Xbox headset is designed to enhance 3D audio and feature clear microphone sound, with dual beamforming microphone elements for quality noise cancellation. The headset boasts impressive specs, but even more impressive is that the headset is optimized for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, which can be very handy for those who play on multiple platforms or use the xCloud Gaming service.

As fans rush to grab the newest technology from Xbox, the company is looking ahead to see what products would get fans even more excited. Senior Director of Xbox Hardware Business Strategy James Hunter asked fans what products they want to see made by Xbox. Many fans have asked for updates on old products like the Xbox Kinect and the Xbox 360 Bluetooth earpiece, while other fans have asked for new products with specific features, like an Xbox Elite 3 controller with adaptive triggers like the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.
Some fans have requested products that would visually or audibly enhance the entire Xbox experience, like a 3D soundbar, or Xbox-branded lights that sync with games and media, much like the Samsung LED Smart TVs with ambient lighting. With lighting and 3D audio creating more of an immersive experience in gaming and a recent partnership with Samsung QLED, it would not be surprising for Xbox to release audio or visual products like LED lighting or soundbars to sync with gaming or media.
Fans also shared highly requested features that could be added to existing products, like adding a rechargeable battery to standard Xbox controllers, and various party chat features with the Bluetooth headset. Although, one fan requested a music option in party chat, which Hunter then shared that the new Xbox Wireless Headset can pair with both a mobile device and the Xbox console, which allows players to blend the audio from the mobile device and any games or party chat on the console.
Xbox has come out with a number of impressive products recently. With the reveal of the Xbox Refrigerator, Xbox is showing that the company is willing to expand their market, and perhaps some of the fan requests will be heard, and development of new products will begin with a great fan idea.
