A Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapon skin is causing a commotion among the community due to its loved style yet steep price tag.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a game full of skins, operators, and other cosmetic options for players. After the release of a new Mastercraft bundle, players have received a leak of its leveled-up forms. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues to add new cosmetics to its game, but this one comes with a controversial price tag.

A new skin has appeared online for the Krig 6 that shows the evolved forms of the NecroKing Mastercraft weapon. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans have been excited to receive this dragon-themed rifle, but many are concerned over its price tag. As a new addition to the bundle store, many players believe that it does not deserve the price listed on the weapon.

A post by Misplqce on Reddit showcases the NecroKing Mastercraft skin for the Krig 6 in three previously unseen forms. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War blueprints normally have only one version, but the Mastercraft weapon has an apparent Dark Aether, Dark Matter Ultra, and Diamond variant. These leaked images showcase the rifle with several variations impacting the Dragon part of the skin rather than the rifle itself.

In each form, the dragon receives a recoloring that many prestige players have become familiar with. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Dark Aether version showcases the nebula purple and black colors whereas the Dark Matter Ultra is a sharp black and grey contrast. Diamond is one of the more interesting variants as it presents a silver dragon with a diamond-studded body that many players have very strong opinions on.

Players are impressed with the detail found within the skin, but argue that the price tag is set a tad too high. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is selling this bundle for $24, or 2400 in COD points, which is a sharp contrast to many other packs. While this is not a new price, as some bundles have previously shared the same tag, it is still more than many fans are willing to spend on a weapon that performs below average.

The weapon does come with Tracer rounds and Cryo Dismemberment along with several attachments. With a core body of the Krig 6, the weapon has a Socom Eliminator muzzle, 19.7 Takedown barrel, a Raider Stock, 45 Round Speed Magazine, and an Airborn Elastic Wrap. While many Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans approve of the attachments, the weapon is still considered low tier by the overall community.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
