New Super Lucky's Tale is a 3D platformer initially released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019, and later ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While the cost of the Sony and Microsoft versions seem to be the same as of this writing, the Switch release of New Super Lucky's Tale now has a permanently reduced price tag.
The bright and cartoony platformer was previously $39.99 on the Nintendo console, but that price has been reduced to $29.99. As New Super Lucky's Tale was released on PlayStation and Xbox roughly a year after the Switch release, it is possible those versions of the game will see a discount in about a year.

New Super Lucky's Tale is a ground-up remake of an Xbox exclusive called Super Lucky's Tale. Developer Playful Studios apparently liked the upgraded Switch version so much they brought it to all three major consoles, and even delisted the original version of Super Lucky's Tale from the Microsoft store.
That history aside, New Super Lucky's Tale is a love letter to the 3D platformers of the PS1 and N64 era, and is very reminiscent of Banjo-Kazooie as well as the original Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot games. Many reviewers have noted that while the game is on the shorter side, it is a bright and happy romp that is hard not to enjoy. Considering the largely positive reviews as well as the reduced price tag, any Nintendo fans looking for a platformer on the Switch might want to consider New Super Lucky's Tale.
New Super Lucky's Tale is available now for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
