Loop Hero is all about spending time wandering a monster-infested loop, gathering resources, trying new builds, and upgrading the camp to hopefully help the hero get a little further each time. Over multiple chapters, players will have the chance to unlock three different classes of heroes to play with, but it will take some time.
In Loop Hero, the Warrior class is unlocked by default, but specific buildings will need to be made at the camp to get access to the Rouge, and the Necromancer. Each class requires a range of different buildings to be constructed before the class will become available, and players can find the full details for each class listed below.

A large range of different resources will be required, but all of them can be collected in the first chapter if players are willing to put in the time to grind them out. This can definitely be worth it, as both the Rogue and Necromancer class bring their own style of play, with the Necromancer being a very powerful option.
To unlock the Rogue class, players will need to build two different structures at the camp. First, the Field Kitchen, which will give players access to the Blood Grove card, and improved healing when they pass the campfire. To build the Field Kitchen, players will need the following resources:
- 3 Preserved Wood
- 2 Preserved Stone
- 1 Food Supply
After building the Field Kitchen, players will have access to the Refuge building, which can be built using the resources listed below. When the Refuge is completed, the Rogue class will become available:
- 12 Preserved Wood
- 2 Presever Stone
- 4 Stable Metal
- 7 Food Supply
To unlock the Necromancer, players will also need to build the Field Kitchen, but should already have that built from unlocking the Rogue class. After that, they will need to build the Gymnasium using the materials listed below:
- 2 Stable Wood
- 3 Preserved Stone
- 6 Stable Metal
- 1 Metamorphosis
This will allow them to build the Cemetary, for which they will need the following resources.
- 4 Stable Wood
- 14 Preserved Stone
- 2 Stable Metal
Finally, they can build the final piece of the Necromancer puzzle, the Crypt, using the below resources. Doing so will unlock the Necromancer class, giving players access to the strongest class in the game:
- 4 Stable Wood
- 16 Preserve Stone
- 9 Stable Metal
- 1 Orb of Expansion
While it may seem like a lot of resources are required to get both classes, learning the various tile combinations that are available in Loop Hero will help players to rapidly farm resources in the first chapter, and they will have access to the Rogue and the Necromancer in no time.
Loop Hero is available on PC.
