March 10 is Mar10 Day and this is the time of year that Nintendo celebrates everyone's favorite plumber. Fans should be on the lookout for things like new apparel and other various promotions to mark the occasion. Mario Kart Tour features one such promotion, as the game is dedicating its next event to the special day. The Mario Tour is arriving soon to the mobile title, but this time it will feature what Nintendo is calling 'Tokyo Blur 4'.
The Snow Tour event is currently wrapping up in Mario Kart Tour and Mario Tour is right around the corner. According to the game's official Twitter, Tokyo Blur 4 is a variant of the existing Tokyo-based course. Aside from that, no other details on the event have been announced at this time. There is the likelihood of new characters and other surprises for players, however, as the event is meant to celebrate Nintendo's star character. In past events, like Mario Kart Tour's New Year's event, the game added a new kart, a new track, alternate costumes, and fresh challenges to the game.

Last year marked the 35th Anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, and the celebration is continuing until the end of March. To close out the festivities, Nintendo has recently brought back Super Mario-themed items to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players can decorate their islands with Thwomps and turtle shells, among many other items, and dress up as Nintendo icons. One of the most exciting additions is the new Warp Pipe, which players can place on their islands and use to warp around.
With the anniversary coming to a close, the end of March also means Nintendo is removing Mario anniversary products from its store. Despite fans objecting to this decision, a lot of popular merchandise created for the event will soon be no longer available. This includes several games in the company's catalog. Those looking to do a little anniversary shopping will need to scour the Nintendo store and take their picks while they can.
Mario Kart Tour is currently available for Android and iOS devices.
