Mr. Beast set up a high-budget challenge for a small Minecraft streamer by tasking him to finish the game with a certain time frame.

During these times, money can be hard to come by for some people, and some celebrities do what they can to help others and give back to the community. One such trend within the Twitch community for games like Minecraft sees a huge streamer sometimes surprising others by donating money to smaller streamers who need more help. This not only gives them a nice paycheck, but also provides them a shoutout and helps raise their viewer count.

Mr. Beast, a YouTuber who constantly goes out of his way to help smaller creators, makes a majority of his content involve financially helping friends, charity, and family members with large rewards for completing challenges. Recently, he gave a smaller streamer $50,000 just for completing a Minecraft Speedrun in under one hour.

On Mr. Beast's secondary gaming channel, which has already stacked up 15 million followers, he set up the challenge for a 19-year-old streamer from Germany named Benni who goes by "realbenex." Luckily for Benni and his chat, the streamer was able to complete the challenge around the 44-minute mark.

The initial rules set up by Mr. Beast demanded that Benni create a new world but was not allowed to reset, forcing him to work in whatever seed he was given, even if it wasn't a very good one. Other members of Mr. Beast's team and popular streamer Karl Jacobs would also troll Benni by sending him donations with funny messages attached to distract him. Fortunately, Benni was able to keep his composure and won the challenge.

Mr. Beast wasn't able to donate over $1,000 through Twitch, but assured everyone he would find a way to give Benni his money. This also isn't the first time Br. Beast has given out prizes through some sort of Minecraft-themed challenge. Similar challenges that Mr. Beast has created in the past are hiding $100,000 gift cards on the Minecraft server and challenging a group of Minecraft players to build the best in-game farm for $50,000.

As of this moment, it is unclear what Benni will intend to do with the money. However, both Benni and Mr. Beast have made brief videos on their YouTube channel that summarized everything that happened for people who missed out. Hopefully, this sort of idea will keep inspiring other creators and fans who are in a good enough financial place to spread the love and help out others.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
