The Season of Legends event is still ongoing in Pokemon GO with a large focus on the three Forces of Nature legendary Pokemon and their alternate forms. Of these three Pokemon, Landorus is the head of the trio.
Landorus has already appeared in the past in Pokemon GO as a legendary raid boss. It, however, will be returning for the long-running Season of Legends event in both its Therian and Incarnate Formes for players to catch.

While Landorus currently isn't one of the active raid bosses, the Season of Legends event will be running until June 1. This means that it may not appear until after the Therian Formes for both Thundurus and Tornadus are available in-game.
Once Landorus does appear as a raid boss, players will need to be prepared to fight it. Being a dual Ground and Flying-type in both its Incarnate and Therian Formes, it is only weak to Ice and Water-type moves. Landorus meanwhile resists damage from Electric, Fighting, Bug, Poison, and Ground-type moves.
Like with the majority of other legendary raids, players are recommended to not challenge Landorus alone. Players can invite friends to raids remotely if they have a remote raid pass or they can help their friends with Landorus from far away as well.
Although Landorus only has two weaknesses, both Ice and Water-types have some hard hitting Pokemon among their ranks. When it comes to Ice-type Pokemon, some of the best ones are Mamoswine, Mega Abomasnow, Weavile, Galarian Darmanitan, and Glaceon. Having Pokemon benefit from same-type attack bonus as well as benefit from Landorus's weaknesses will be critical in taking it down in a timely matter. If possible, one of the most helpful charge moves to use against Landorus for Ice-type Pokemon is Avalanche.
For Water-type Pokemon, players can have access to even more Mega Evolutions as well as strong attacks. Some of the better ones for the fight against Landorus are Mega Blastoise, Mega Gyarados, Swampert, Kyogre, and Kingler. Moves such as Waterfall and Water Gun can really help with bringing up charge moves with Hydro Pump, Hydro Cannon, and Surf all being capable of putting a large dent in Landorus' health.
Differing from the mainline Pokemon games, players cannot currently make Landorus switch from its Incarnate Forme to its Therian Forme and vice-versa. If players want both forms, they will need to capture one in its Incarnate Forme and one in its Therian Forme. The two have different stats, so these forms are not just cosmetic.
