Developer Guerrilla Games has said that it will be updating the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn less frequently.

In a post on its website, the studio said it was releasing the 1.10 patch for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition but also said that the team was moving to focus more on its upcoming sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. This new patch fixes a number of crash errors and performance problems.

“We want to thank you all for your continued support and for sending in your crash reports over the past months,” Guerrilla wrote.

“The information we received through your reports was invaluable to further investigate and help fix some of the trickier issues that we fixed in Patch 1.10.”

Horizon Zero Dawn originally launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in March 2017 before launching on PC in August 2020. This was shortly after Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding – also built on Guerrilla’s Decima Engine – came to PC, too. On launch, we said that the game is what you’d get if “Sony and The Witcher 3 had a baby” in our review.

Follow-up Horizon Forbidden West was announced in June of last year for PlayStation consoles. No doubt that title may also make the leap to PC at some point.
