Valheim has a variety of elemental arrows that can poison, freeze like Valheim frost arrows, or set an enemy on fire. But there is only one bow in the game that also does elemental damage: the Draugr Fang.
This bow is a late-game marvel of a weapon. Even at level 1, this high-tier Valheim weapon not only deals 47 pierce damage, but also couples that with 20 knockback and 5 elemental poison damage. This means that any arrow fired from this bow is also a poison arrow, all without hunting down all that ooze from the Swamps. While the material list for making and upgrading the Fang might seem a little daunting, it's worth the work to see this bow in all its glowing glory.

Not only does the Draugr Fang deal more damage than any other bow, but it also glows with an eerie blue-green luminescent light, similar to the light from the Valheim trader's Dverger circlet. It's a unique and stylish bow with the power to take down even the scariest Valheim enemies.

In order to make an upgrade to the Draugr fang, players will need 40 Ancient Bark, 80 smelted silver bars, 14 deer hide, and 22 guck.
- Ancient bark can be farmed from Ancient trees in the Swamp biome with a copper axe. It can also be found occasionally in Valheim's Sunken Crypt treasure chests.
- Valheim's Silver ore is mined with Bonemass' Wishbone in the Mountain Biome. The player will need to defeat Bonemess, equip the Wishbone, use it to find hidden silver veins, then mine them with an iron pickaxe. It must then be smelted in a smelter.
- Deer hide come from deer, which can be found in the Meadows and Black Forest biomes and hunting with any bow.
- Guck in Valheim is a building material that can only be farmed in one place: the trees that have glowing guck sacks attached to them in the Swamp Biome. They look like this:
In order to get the guck, players have to build structures around and up the trees, then hit the sacks with an axe. Unfortunately, the trees cannot be cut down and players cannot shoot the sacks with arrows. They have to build up to each sack and attack it to get the needed guck. The bottom sacks of guck closer to the ground usually have fewer guck in them, but the amount of guck will increase as the player continues up the tree. Some guck sacks can contain 10 guck or more, so players shouldn't have trouble getting the 22 guck they need.
After everything is collected, players can fully upgrade their new poison bow to the max at their level 5 forge.
Valheim is currently in Early Access for PC.
