Call of Duty: Warzone is celebrating its one year anniversary today, and the massively popular battle royale title is keeping it a mostly low-key affair. After a year filled with gulag fights, final circle confrontations, bugs, glitches, in-game events, and the ever-changing meta of weapons in Warzone, fans are being given the chance to reflect on their year through the Warzone Report.
As Call of Duty: Warzone passes the one year mark, fans have a lot of questions about what the next year will look like. At the forefront is the question of whether a new map is on the way. Fans have been asking for a new map since last summer, but that chatter has intensified as the first anniversary approached. A good amount of the rumors and supposed leaks indicate that change is coming soon, with Verdansk being annihilated by a nuke or nukes the most likely scenario.

While fans ponder what could be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, the Call of Duty official Twitter account has made the Warzone Report feature available for players to check their stats over the past 12 months. Replying to the post with the player's Activision account name/number generates a chart showing off kill/death ratio, hours played, and wins as well as a couple other stats relating to those figures. This information is available in game and on a couple of websites, but in a neat tidy package like this, the Warzone Report gives players a simple image to spam out to their squadmates and brag with ease.
While not everyone can be Aydan and crew breaking the Warzone squad kill record during a wagers match in impressive fashion, some might be pleasantly surprised to find their stats are better than they thought. Though a lot of players already obsessively monitor their in-game stats, so likely know where they stack up.
Warzone has become the unofficial centerpiece of the Call of Duty franchise, attracting in a huge player base, it has brought a number of folks into the COD ecosystem for the first time. Which is why rumors that Call of Duty 2021 will be revealed in Warzone seem plausible. Black Ops Cold War did a great in-game event in Warzone to generate hype, and given Warzone's continued success, doing the same for COD 2021 makes sense.
With zombies slowly invading Verdansk, or at least that is what folks believe is happening, the anniversary shenanigans might not be limited to just the Warzone Report, but for now fans will just have to wait and see what else might happen now that Year 2 is officially underway.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
