Minecraft content creator GeorgeNotFound actually found himself in trouble with Twitch earlier this week. In fact, his issues with Twitch over the last two days has seen his account banned twice.
While the streamer is no stranger to getting into hot water, it's usually over the actual content he produces about Minecraft and other topics. Last month, GeorgeNotFound had his TikTok account suspended for violating that site's community guidelines. However, this time around, it doesn't appear it was the content creator's behavior that earned him the punishment. It appears it was his username that drew the suspension this time around.

On Saturday, the content creator posted on Twitter that his alt Twitch account had been banned. He also posted the reason the site gave him. The notice claimed his username was inappropriate. He pointed out that was a bit strange, because his alt user name is ThisIsGeorgeNotFound. While the alert claimed his account was being banned "indefinitely" it was quickly reestablished.
The first ban came on went on Saturday. On Sunday, before he could start streaming any game of Minecraft, the account was banned once again. GeorgeNotFound once again took to Twitter, again claiming he was confused about what was going on. His tweet simply said he'd been banned "again." This time, the site gave a bit more information as to why it was taking action. The content creator still seemed confused as to what was going on.
The second time the account was banned, the notice claimed there were very specific reasons why it was taking action including the possibility the username "insulted another user." Twitch claimed another reason it ThisIsGeorgeNotFound might have been suspended - again indefinitely - was because he had threatened negative action towards another user. The third possibility was that he had potentially told another user to cause harm to themselves. For his part, the Minecraft content creator claimed he'd done none of those things, and continued to claim he didn't have any idea why the site was taking action against him. GeorgeNotFound seemed to have been telling the truth, as a few hours after his account was suspended again, it was unlocked.
This is hardly the first time Twitch has suspended or banned a content creator without giving a solid reason why. Among the most famous cases of this kind of thing happening, was the situation surrounding Dr. Disrespect. The big difference is the site has never lifted its ban against him. For his part, he still claims he was never told why he was kicked off.
Minecraft is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
