Update 1.5 for Hunt: Showdown arrived for PC via a test server and it came with a swath of features; that same content is now available on consoles. Update 1.5 includes a few new weapons, including a lever-action Winfield 1887 Terminus shotgun which could be a game-changer, especially on consoles. The biggest new addition is the custom ammunition feature, which allows players to alter their ammo and do anything from add Dragonbreath shotgun shells to putting Poison Ammo on rifles. Maintenance will take place on consoles on March 18th at 9:00 CET, Update 1.5 will go live once the maintenance is complete.
On top of the 1.5 Update for consoles, PC players also will receive a smaller 1.5.0.2 Update sometime after maintenance on March 18th at 10:30 CET. What exactly is on this update is not yet known. It could be that Crytek will simply make small adjustments and glitch fixes. However, the team could also be preparing for the new boss and The Crow Flies Event that it recently revealed. The event is supposed to take place in just seven days now. All signs point to the event being the starting point for a new "crow" boss; something else that Crytek has been teasing for quite some time.
Hunt: Showdown is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
