Spring is just a few days away and Pokemon GO trainers are likely looking forward to a break from the cold weather and the chance to get back outdoors and playing the game around their communities once again. Although there are already a ton of events announced for the Season of Legends and the closing weeks of March, it sounds like trainers in India are getting yet another activity added to their agenda to help celebrate the Festival of Colors.
Region locked events are nothing new to Pokemon GO and players in India are the latest to get the special treatment. This small event will help players ring in the spring season with some exclusive Timed Research and special spawns of Pokemon that represent the different colors of the Festival of Colors. The special spawns for the event will be triggered by Incense, so players in the region should be sure to stock up on the resource before March 28 rolls around.

The event is pretty short and players will only have a handful of hours to take advantage of the Incense bonus and power through the Timed Research. The exact tasks involved in the chain haven't been confirmed yet, but it will likely be a fairly short list considering the length of the event...
Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 10:00 to 20:00 IST (GMT +5:30) for Trainers in India
Pokémon representing the different colors of the Festival of Colors will be attracted more frequently to Incense, such as Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Alolan Grimer, Seel, Marill, Sunkern, Murkrow, Slugma, Aron, Trapinch, and Drifloon.
Complete the exclusive Festival of Colors Timed Research tasks to earn the following rewards.
Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls

"In addition to this exciting in-game event for Trainers in India, two all-new T-shirt avatar items inspired by the Festival of Colors will be available to all Trainers worldwide! These avatar items will be available for free in the in-game shop starting on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time."
That's everything we know about the event so far, but the full list of tasks and rewards should be available closer to the official launch of the festivities.
Over the next week or so players should continue to learn a lot more about what other events are on the way throughout the Season of Legends. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
