Popular Twitch streamer and Fortnite player Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins is releasing the second installment of his graphic novel series.

Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and Penguin Random House publishing have announced the release of the second installment in Ninja's self-titled graphic novel series, Ninja: War for the Dominions. The first installment in the series, Ninja: The Most Dangerous Game, released in 2019 and chronicles Ninja as he embarks on gaming adventures in a fictional world. Ninja: War for the Dominions picks up from the first installment and sees Ninja facing evil overlord Strigus Thule and his Great Beasts.

Ninja's graphic novels feature the streamer drawn with the classic blue hair and yellow headband that have made him a streaming icon. Originally a competitive Halo 3 player, Ninja joined millions of other gamers in the battle royale game Fortnite upon its release in 2017. Ninja streamed Fortnite in its early days, and as the game's popularity skyrocketed, his following grew. Eventually, Ninja became synonymous with Fortnite and broke the Twitch viewing record for the largest concurrent audience twice in a row while streaming the game.

Although Ninja still plays Fortnite, he has also cast his creative net with other business ventures like his graphic novel series. The graphic novels are written by Justin Jordan, who has also worked on comics for both DC and Marvel. Set to come out in May, Ninja: War for the Dominions sees Ninja and his crew preparing for war now that the Great Beasts have been unleashed, and they must figure out how to stop Strigus Thule in order to save the world.

Though Ninja's graphic novel series seems to have found an audience, his creative ventures haven't always been successful. He caused quite a stir in the Twitch community back in 2019 when he stopped streaming on the platform and decided to exclusively stream on Microsoft's streaming startup, Mixer. Mixer eventually failed, partially because the original founders left after Mixer was up and running but also because of the apparent financial toll Ninja's 20+million dollar contract had on the platform. Ninja came back to Twitch though and got a multi-year deal to keep streaming, and he's been a huge contributor to the streaming service ever since.

Ninja also isn't without his controversies. He's been accused of being a toxic gamer on several occasions and many gamers still don't fully understand why Ninja says he won't stream with women. However, he still reaches one of largest digital audiences of any content creator. Between YouTube, Twitch, and other digital platforms, Ninja has over 65 million fans worldwide and continues to receive sponsorship deals with various companies to promote his growing brand. His graphic novels are only a small part of what make him such a powerful influencer for Fortnite fans and other gamers, and his recent interest in other games like Valorant and League of Legends only broaden his reach.

Ninja: War for the Dominions is set to release in May.
