League of Legends has been around for over a decade, debuting as one of the games of the MOBA genre that drew popularity towards what was once a niche genre. Its colorful cast of champions is one of League of Legends' major drawing points, with each champion being unique in their personality, gameplay, and individual lore. For a game with over 150 champions, that feat in itself is an impressive one that Riot Games continues with every new addition to its roster. Going hand-in-hand with the abundance of champions League of Legends has to offer are its accompanying skins.
While skins are purely cosmetic for the most part, they change the appearance and overall aesthetic of a champion to make them different from their original appearance. In recent years, skins are paired with events, with a group of skins relating a specific theme. In League's upcoming event, the Battle Academia-themed skins make a return from its 2019 inclusion, introducing several champions in a battle school setting similar to that of My Hero Academia. The Battle Academia skins were released a day ago, but it didn't keep one cosplayer from faithfully recreating one of its featured champions.

Dedicated League of Legends cosplayer and streamer, Ehri, posted her take on Battle Academia Caitlyn a day before the official release of the skin. While details of the Battle Academia skins were available two weeks prior, the speed and accuracy in which she captured the Caitlyn cosplay are impressive. From Caitlyn's armor shoulder plates to the details on her jacket and her headpiece, the Caitlyn cosplay is topped off with her enjoying a cup of tea, referring to the sheriff-turned-class president's preferred method to unwind. A side-by-side comparison posted on Ehri's Twitter is enough to see how impressive the cosplay is.
As mentioned prior, the Battle Academia skins place the champions of League in the role of students and professors of various schools. This year's Battle Academia event focuses on Labrys God-Weapon Academy, with Caitlyn being the featured champion as a senior student who wishes to whip her fellow delinquent classmates into shape.
As the only champion in the event with a Legendary-tiered skin, one piece missing from the Battle Academia Caitlyn cosplay is her massive pulse rifle exclusive to the skin. Caitlyn also has unique dialog in relation to her role in Battle Academia, including special interactions with the other students. The Battle Academia skins for Caitlyn, Leona, Garen, Wukong, and Yone are available to purchase now, as players also have the chance to unlock exclusive emotes and summoner icons during the Battle Academia event itself.
League of Legends is available now on PC.
