One of the biggest subjects of current speculation in the video game industry is what's happening with Silent Hill. Konami's been rumored to have licensed the brand out, sold it to competitors, and more. But as fans wait for an official confirmation on that front, Konami continues to partner with smaller developers to create Silent Hill-themed DLC. The next such example is Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals, which has now announced the release date for a Silent Hill DLC pack.
Today's big announcement is the Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals Silent Hill DLC's release date. Players will be able to get the DLC starting March 23. It'll also be discounted 10% at launch. Developer Glowstick Entertainment asks fans to buy in, as good sales could lead to more AAA licensed characters being added to the game.

Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals is a multiplayer horror game akin to many other popular horror multiplayer games now available. It features an asymmetrical multiplayer monsters vs. mortals mode, as well as two four-player competitive match-types. The new Silent Hill DLC appears to add a new Silent Hill map that's nice and foggy and swaps between calm and evil versions. Alongside that, there are also Mortal skins for Silent Hill characters Heather, Cybil, Robbie, and a Nurse, as well as a Monster skin for "Red Pyramid thing."
Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals isn't the only horror multiplayer game to get a licensed partnership for Silent Hill, of course. Dead by Daylight also added some Silent Hill DLC in October 2020, which added a map, a survivor, and "The Executioner" Pyramid Head killer. It's fun and silly DLC overall for both games, so Konami hopefully keeps up the effort.
Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals is available now on PC.
