The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies storyline continues to evolve as the Dark Aether spreads across multiple points. In the story, rips in reality have formed across the globe at locations that many fans remember from the original Zombies timeline. These Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War situations may not be of German origin anymore, but that has not stopped the ever-rising tide of zombie mayhem.
As the story slowly grows, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies fans speculate on future locations and themes. Treyarch tends to not give direct answers and instead releases gifs teasing future content. In a recent tweet, one of the gifs is unveiling an unusual spot for Zombie emergence.

The tweet showcases a purple tunnel that many fans recognize as a Dark Aether pathway. Similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies teleporters, these pathways allow the undead to travel and appear in a wide variety of locations. This new spot appears to be a beach house of some sort, with a dock present at the beginning of the clip. Umbrellas and chairs make it seem as if this beach is a public locale, and the white house in the back has a very traditional appearance. It is unclear exactly where this Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War map is, but many players are interested in the water possibilities.
In the comments, players speculate that it could mean swimming zombies or an invasion from a lakefront. While Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War does contain watercraft, it does not currently offer a swimming mechanic in most game modes. Despite this, fans believe that aquatic undead would be a fun and thrilling story dynamic.
It is unclear how a beach house connects to the overall plot of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies. With the last chapter transporting players to Firestation Z, a beach seems like a stretch away from the invaded facility.
However, it would not be the strangest location for the Zombie franchise to travel. Call of Duty Zombies has been to the moon, mining towns, and even ancient Greece, so a beach house would not be out of the question. The one Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombie issue that all players agree on is that they must be stopped wherever they appear and with as powerful a weapon as possible.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
