The Call of Duty: Warzone Heartbeat Sensor comes at a steep price as players are losing their heads over this strange bug's appearance.

The Heartbeat Sensor in Call of Duty: Warzone is a fan-favorite tool for detecting enemies prior to an assault. It gives a reading and general location of nearby opponents but can easily be countered by Ghost or similar perks. While the Call of Duty: Warzone tools may be versatile in its performance, it does seem to have one new side effect.

The Heartbeat Sensor has been a topic of debate among the Call of Duty: Warzone community since it was added. While it does have a powerful ability, it locks in the player's sight and causes a tunnel vision effect. In addition, it is hard to go from Heartbeat Sensor to ADS quick enough to survive some fights. This makes it risky to use as it could cost players the round if they are not careful.

In addition to its inherent dangers, a new bug has caused an interesting side effect to using the Heartbeat Sensor. In a photo posted by PerrysReddit to Reddit, the players showcase their friend Jason who appears to have lost his head. His arm is outstretched, holding the Heartbeat Sensor, but he has no head to view the information. While the player in question has not lost their sight, this is an interesting side effect to the Heartbeat Sensor that has not been previously noticed. This Call of Duty: Warzone bug could be dangerous if the player was at all aware of his headless nature.

While this side effect is a rare occurrence, it could become a problem if other players start noticing its appearance. The Call of Duty: Warzone item bug would allow players to peek around short cover without the danger of revealing their head. While many are sure that the model is still present, it appears that its texture has simply vanished.

It is unclear if this glitch continued after the Heartbeat Sensor was put away, but this could easily be the start of a new problematic bug. Call of Duty: Warzone fans have already noted difficulty tracking targets and landing hits, and this difficulty will only increase if the enemy's head suddenly vanishes.

Some fans speculate that this is a side-effect of the invisible player Call of Duty: Warzone glitch that was widespread months ago. While the bug has been patched, the developers may have accidentally regulated the bug to only affect the head. Thankfully this is only a visual bug, but it could easily become something much worse.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
