While there are many, many pieces of equipment in the game, the Battle-tested items are some of the best when it comes to preparing the characters for...well...battle, of course! There are two ways to get them. The player can either purchase (or steal) Battle-tested equipment from certain NPCs — in which case, only once per item — or challenge (or provoke) a specific NPC, if their character is strong enough, for a slim chance (seriously, only two percent) to get a piece. (The latter can be repeated over and over without limit.)
