As far as furniture goes, the majority of the options available in the Get Together pack fit a modern theme. Everything from geometric mailboxes to abstract wall art is in this pack.
Sims are not always the cleanest apartment tenants. The Laundry Day stuff pack helps deal with some of the clutter. Though the furniture style is more reminiscent of a country living aesthetic, some of the items can be very modern. Though the Island Living expansion pack has its own unique style, a lot of the pieces of furniture and decor can be repurposed to fit a modern aesthetic. This pack comes with sliding doors, ottomans, tables, and other little decorative items that add plenty of personality to any modern design plan.

The cabinet set that comes with the Island Living pack offers tons of kitchen and bathroom versatility. Especially when paired with the wall cabinets from the base game. The cabinets can also be styles to make a full wall entertainment space.
Modern apartments are not just for single sims, even families may opt to live in a smaller space. The parenthood stuff pack is a great way to add another layer to gameplay. The furniture options in this pack are also great additions to a modern interior. A few useful items in this pack include dishwashers, a new refrigerator, and several modern tables.
Though not a requirement for a modern apartment, pets are a great addition to any space. Some of the apartment lots provided in other packs can often be lacking in sim interactions. The Cats and Dogs expansion pack, allows players to create cats, dogs, raccoons, and foxes to keep their sims company.
The pack also brings the more modern fish tanks to life, rather than having a still image floating in the tank. Though Brindleton Bay has more of a Southern architecture style, some of the decors can add plenty of personality in a modern setting.
