Call of Duty's weekly briefing for March 22, 2021, brings plenty of new and exciting things to the world of Call of Duty. Players can enjoy the Shadowhunter Crossbow in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, new game modes for Call of Duty: Mobile, and much more.

One of the pieces of information is the Double XP that is on the way very soon for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players. Double XP is a great time for players to progress quickly through the Battle Pass, complete challenges, and more, and players can look forward to that this weekend.

Beginning on March 26, 2021, and lasting through March 29, 2021, Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP will be running in both Call for Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. Because of this, there is a good chance that there will be an extra batch of players on Call of Duty this weekend. Just try to avoid players in Call of Duty: Warzone who are taking advantage of the wallhack glitch that appeared recently.

With Call of Duty and Sony still maintaining their exclusivity deal to a degree, PlayStation users will get a bonus Double XP day of 24 hours. Instead of beginning on March 26, users on PlayStation consoles will start on March 25. Every moment counts out on the battlefield, so PlayStation players will likely enjoy that extra time, even if there are others who may find the small exclusivity agreements to be a bit irritating.

The Double XP will be very useful in helping to level up the new Crossbow in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone, which just recently returned to the game after being released early. In that way, the timing of the Double XP is perfect. Of course, the Double Weapon XP works for all guns; not just the new Crossbow.

As far as modes, Stockpile, Gun Game, and Face Off are all still on the rotation in Black Ops Cold War, so players will be able to take advantage of the Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP in those modes over the weekend. For Call of Duty: Warzone players, Rebirth Island is still broken on PC for many players, so it may be best to avoid that entirely and play on the standard map at this point if trying to take advantage of the Double XP fun; whether playing solo or teaming up with friends over the weekend.
