Twice-banned from the NoPixel RP server, xQc engages in a daring bank heist while putting his GTA Online character, and apparently himself, in danger.

The Grand Theft Auto Online NoPixel 3.0 server has been filled with big-name streamers interacting in the digital world of San Andreas. With roleplaying at the forefront, many viewers expect the streams to be filled with more relaxed gameplay and amusing twists. So when a bank heist began to go awry last night, no one was expecting Felix Lengyel to almost pass out from the stress.

Felix Lengyel, better known by his online handle of xQc, has spent a bit of time in the spotlight both on stream and in tournaments. A controversial figure within the Overwatch League for banter many posits as toxic, the player is no stranger to pressure from his tenure with the Dallas Fuel. In spite of leaving the Overwatch League, he's readily found as a backbone of competitive games while offering colorful epithets to punctuate his play.

On March 23, xQc organized a bank heist of the local Los Santos bank with two hostages. Within moments, aggressive police officers swarmed the outside of the bank barking orders and attempting to verify that they were safe. xQc opted to wear a heart rate monitor for the stream, which began climbing exponentially as pressure mounted from hostages and police officers all played by other people. The negotiations with the officers (with hostages in clear view) began the spike of Felix's blood pressure. Then Felix attempted to solve the puzzle necessary to open the vault, where it climbed to a concerning 175 bpm.

The streamer is heard attempting to manage his heart rate while officers were screaming orders outside and the safe puzzle presented itself. Deep breaths from xQc punctuated the otherwise hectic scene, but the pressure proved a bit much in tandem with the unlocking of the safe. As it became clear that Felix Lengyel was attempting to manage the culminating stress mid-heist, his character within the server was suffering from stress as well. The screen turned out of focus (an in-game effect of stress on a character, built up by police presence and brandishing weaponry) while Felix struggled to nail the proper timings of the safe.

The heist ultimately failed but xQc managed to escape the police. He parked in a back lot and turned his camera back on to talk through the event with his chat. The streamer stated, in his standard unique dialogue pacing typically punctuated with profanity, "My heart was going so fast I couldn't think, the blood was rushing to my head, my vision was f***ing blacking out dude."

Felix Lengyel made a splash when he joined the Grand Theft Auto Online RP server NoPixel 3.0, getting banned and then unbanned twice in quick succession. This time, however, the streamer appears to be enjoying himself within the RP community. One thing is for sure: every time the Canadian streamer is live on Twitch, fans know they'll be getting a show.
