Players that want to learn how to play Magic Legends with their friends can find all of the information that they need in this guide.

Magic Legends' PC Open Beta is officially underway, and many players are now getting their very first taste of this new ARPG from developer Cryptic Studios. As these players set out on their adventures, they may become interested in teaming up with their friends, and indeed that is possible. That said, fans will need to do quite a bit of preparatory work before they are able to play Magic Legends with friends, and this guide provide full details on the process.

To put things simply, Magic Legends players cannot join up with specific individuals until they have reached Benalia. Accessing this location requires completion of the tutorial, finishing all of the quests in Tazeem, and taking on a number of additional quests in Shiv, and fans should expect to spend a few hours getting all of this done. Upon arrival in Benalia, players will receive a quest called Rise of the Cabal, and it is at this point that they can begin to invite their friends.

With respect to how those invitations are sent, it is as simple as pressing "Escape" on a keyboard and then clicking "Invite to Party" on the left side of the screen. That said, friends that form a group in Magic Legends as soon as they receive Rise of the Cabal will not actually be playing with one another until they reach the point in the quest where they enter the village of Seven Sisters. Indeed, the majority of this quest must be taken on solo, though working through it should not take too long.

While players should now have a good sense of how to play with their friends, a couple of additional points of clarification may be helpful. First, it is worth noting that some areas in Magic Legends are instanced and do not support co-op play. If a fan looks at their map and does not see any green circles, which represent other players, they can be fairly certain that they are in one of these areas, and they will not be with their party members until they change locations.

Additionally, players may run into situations where they are in an area that can facilitate multiplayer but they still do not see their friends. If this situation arises, it is recommended that all party members travel back to the Sanctum, which serves as Magic Legends' player hub. This should put the entirety of the group into a world together, and they can begin venturing out from there.

Magic Legends releases in 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. An open beta is available on PC now.
