Call of Duty: Warzone fans may have a new trick as JGOD reveals an exploit that many top-tier players are using in their everyday matches.

Call of Duty: Warzone pros tend to use a variety of tactics to excel in the game's competitive environment. From bunny hopping to corner checking, these tactics are practiced for hours before becoming a reflex response in the top player's instincts. While some Call of Duty: Warzone tactics are well trained, others are simple exploits using errors in the game's already buggy engine.

When a top player is caught using an exploit, it often becomes big news among the Call of Duty: Warzone community. Before long, how-to videos spread, instructing others on how to use the exploit until the developer eventually patches it out of the game. Call of Duty: Warzone content creator JGOD has found another one of these exploits, and this one is a fairly common tactic in high-tier lobbies.

The Call of Duty: Warzone content creator broke down a new "broken" movement and camera system that is allowing many players to win gunfights. It plays off the concept of "peeker's advantage," which is an idea that the person who spots the enemy first will often fire first. In Call of Duty: Warzone, it is usually brought up when an opponent swings around the corner and guns down an enemy quickly.

In his video, JGOD demonstrates how to trigger a camera desync on purpose for spontaneous combat situations. The game's camera has a hard time keeping up with how fast character models navigate the environment; this means the faster moving target will often be harder to spot as the camera doesn't update their presence immediately.

To make this exploit even more powerful, it is not exclusive to the Call of Duty: Warzone environment. JGOD demonstrated the same trick within Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warand the results were the same. Whoever makes it around the corner first will often see their opponent first, which makes this a powerful exploit.

In general, players can use this to their advantage by always being the aggressor in combat situations. Call of Duty: Warzone is a game of tactics and strategy, but simply rushing the target may be a viable alternative to a stealthy approach. If the camera can not keep up, the advantage of stealth is still gained through an aggressive style of play.

This is only one of many Call of Duty: Warzone exploits, and due to its frequent nature, it is not likely to be fixed. Raven Software is currently unaware of the problem, and players are now starting to learn how to implement this tactic in their own Call of Duty: Warzone strategy.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
