In Call of Duty: Warzone, being prepared for a variety of situations can ensure a player's survival. While random ground loot can help players survive early fights, eventually, all Call of Duty: Warzone fans attempt to load their custom loadouts throughout the match. While a player can not be prepared for everything, this assault rifle option may be more versatile than initially expected.

Since the Call of Duty: Warzone DMR and MAC-10 nerf, the game has been in flux without a hard meta. Some fans have chosen to revive shotguns as a class option; others are doubling down on old favorites like the Kar rifle and MP5 SMG. Despite this, some innovative fans are looking towards the future and choosing the XM4 as their assault rifle of choice.

While the Call of Duty: Warzone XM4 may not be as focused as some of the other assault rifles, it does contain an inherent versatility that can be improved with a few attachments. As a primarily mid-ranged weapon, the XM4 sports a 30 round magazine with average accuracy, speed, and firepower. The game describes the XM4 as a full-auto assault rifle with reliable damage and fire rate. It is designed for gritty firefights, as it can offer a decent amount of control despite incoming damage. Call of Duty: Warzone fans know that the XM4 is a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapon, but it may have some hidden powers that are just below the surface.

The weapon loadout offers an adaptable rifle that can hold its own in a sustained gunfight. Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts should almost always utilize a suppressor, and the XM4 uses the Agency suppressor for its increased damage range and ability to remain hidden on the map.

The 13.5" Task Force Barrel increases the gun's bullet velocity and damage, while the Visiontech 2X optic allows for a zoomed-in sight on the target.  The Bruiser Grip offers increased recoil control while the STANAG 60 Round Magazine reduces the frequency of reloading during a firefight.

While this weapon may not be capable of "beaming" enemies down, it does offer an alternative that works in both shot and medium-range engagements. Players can use the Call of Duty: Warzone assault rifle's strengths to hold a position or gain a foothold during circle progression.
