The Xbox Indie Showcase collaboration with Twitch this year, ID@Xbox, kicked off its event with some exciting news regarding various upcoming indie games and projects. The event announced new trailers and reveals for games such as The Wild at Heart, Hello Neighbor 2, Narit Boy, and also Soup Pot. In addition, Nearga and HypeTrain Digital, developer and publisher respectively, took this opportunity to reveal a new gameplay trailer for their open-world survival game titled Voidtrain. However, the game is currently not expected to make a release until next year.
Players will take on the role of a mechanic crew who have found themselves in a strange world, and they are not alone. On top of that, in this world, the laws of physics are not always what you would expect them to be. Players will need to learn the ways of this mysterious new realm, gather materials, and craft weapons to be able to fully explore the many terrains of this new world. Along the way, players will solve challenging puzzles to get closer to uncovering the secrets of this void.

The clip also showed a short preview of the customization abilities for the express trains. While each player will start off with a small trolley, they will also have the freedom to upgrade, customize, and equip their engines in any way they choose.
According to the game's Steam page, players can look forward to having the option of exploring the game in either single-player or multiplayer mode. For those interested in experiencing the world in co-op, Voidtrain will allow players to play with groups of up to four players.
Voidtrain currently has no official release date but is expected to see its launch in 2022 for Xbox and PC.
