Fortnite remains one of the biggest games on the market, and the battle royale is especially popular among younger audiences. There are over 350 million registered Fortnite players worldwide, and 62.7 percent are aged 18 to 24 according to a fact sheet published by Statista this January - though Epic Games allows players as young as 13 to join competitive events with a parent's permission. The amount of Fortnite toys released by brands like NERF make sense when appealing to this audience, and Hasbro recently announced a figure based on The Foundation.
Epic Games has worked with all manner of toy and merchandise manufacturers in the past, including Todd McFarlane's company McFarlane Toys. However, last month Hasbro and Epic Games extended their licensing agreement signed in 2018 an additional five years, suggesting there will be more Fortnite-branded merchandise as well as more crossovers like G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes in Fortnite to come.

One such toy is a $39.99 The Foundation action figure revealed on Twitter Friday, available to pre-order now through Hasbro Pulse (at a limit of two per customer) and expected to ship on April 1, 2022. The Foundation featured prominently in the Zero Crisis cinematic that kicked off Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 this month, as the member of a mysterious organization called The Seven and Agent Jones "sealed the Zero Point in a tower of stone."
Hasbro's figure is six inches tall, has 20 points of articulation, and comes with both a Foundational 'Brella Glider and detachable cape Back Bling. It is considered a special-edition figure with unique packaging that is "perfect for Fortnite collectors," and is the first member of The Seven released for the manufacturer's Victory Royale Series line.
Though this suggests the remaining six members of The Seven will also get more prominent roles in the underlying story of Epic Games' battle royale as well as subsequent toys, for now The Foundation is the only one with any available information. All the extra attention this character has received lends credence to the theory that The Foundation will be portrayed by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, though as of this writing the connection is not officially confirmed.
Luckily for fans, more information about the character may become available soon. Fortnite's Zero Crisis Finale is set to end this coming week, and it's likely more narrative moments - possibly even another cinematic - will accompany its departure. In the meantime, there is a long runway for interested collectors to look at Hasbro's Victory Royale Series.
Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
